Veterans Service AcademyMarch 7-8, 2011
We’re excited to announce our Veterans Service Academy for all organizations serving veterans and their families. The Veterans Service Academy, held at the Hyatt Regency in San Antonio, on March 7-8, will provide two days of in-depth nonprofit management training and workshops designed specifically for managers of organizations working with veterans and their families. The Academy will feature national experts in the fields of military outreach and nonprofit excellence to help veterans organizations be successful in serving veterans and their families. Features:
· Networking, sharing best practices, information about what your colleagues in serving veterans are doing
· Training by experts in navigating the veteran and military community (from outreach to fundraising to working with federal and state agencies)
· Expanding fundraising programs
· Building Program and Organizational Partnerships with other Veterans Organizations
· Recruiting, Hiring and Managing Volunteers
· Awards reception and dinner
